Marine Life at Abades

Abades is home to a wide variety of marine life. The seagrass meadows between the reefs are a popular feeding ground for green sea turtles, which are frequently spotted on dives. In addition, the rocky reefs attract schools of fish such as bream, juvenile barracuda, and ornate wrasse. Divers may also encounter cuttlefishes, streaked gurnards, trumpetfishes and occasionally spot stingrays basking in the sandy patches. The vibrant underwater scenery and marine biodiversity make each dive in Abades a unique experience.
